La Vuelta starts tomorrow. I was hoping my GCN+ would allow me to watch it, but not in USA. I either need a VPN or will have to cough up some $$$ for a Peacock Premium subscription.

I brought my first car in high school. A 56 Beetle. I should have kept that car. It would be worth something these days. but it had rusty A-pillars and I was a very broke student. My parents brought my second car for me: they felt bad about the VW. It was a Triumph Herald. that started the rot: I continued to buy old english or french cars and spend a small fortune keeping them on the road. I often had to bike through winter at university as I was saving money to repair the current old car.

My wife cant drive a stick. I had a 6 speed toyota when we first started dating. Thought it would be a good idea to teach her. After about 10 mins, she asked what that smell was, I responded 2,000 dollars burning away. Had to replace the clutch a week later. I was driving back to school and was going up a hill and it wouldnt stay in gear, ended up rolling to the bottom.
