ISO: a 700c wheel with a non-coaster-brake Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub (roller, disc, or rim-brake models are fine).

Alternately, just the hub. But a built wheel would be better.

Yes, my Humber Sports has an FW (alloy no less- it was on there when I got it), and I'm currently assembling a Raleigh Lenton with an FG. A local hill of repute in the Twin Cities is the Ramsey Hill and I went to the top of that without stopping on my Humber-- when riding that bike I often feel I could take it almost anywhere if the tires were a little wider

There's a Trek 520 Touring at the LBS with S&S couplers on it that'd be just the ticket if it didn't have vertical drops. If I recall right, his current rig is a white 950 Single Track set up with a more relaxed stem and street tires.

EDIT: It's funny how small the community of S&S couplers are. This is the 520 that's at the shop: Trek 520 Touring Bike Retrofit by Bilenky Cycle Works. My size too. I'd probably be gah-gah over it if it weren't for that hideous fork.

Please tell me someone captured video of that thief coming down in a pile when that fork wouldn't steer

I used, with my 7s Nexus, an 8s Sora STI shifter coupled with a Problem Solvers doubler. Worked reasonably well- probably would have been better with a 7s shifter. I didn't have a 7sti to try. So that makes the travel, is it ~5.3 (?) mm. I don't recall the numbers I was working with, but 2x the STI cable pull.

I have half a dozen of the roller brake versions in my shop. Won't be able to send one until late July to the states from here in Cambodia.

ISO a mid-eighties frame with decent-to-good tubing, fender mounts, >=58cm seat tube, and <= 58cm top tube, and it needs to fit 700c wheels. Does not need to include a fork. Should fit JIS bottom bracket and headset bearings.

Have: Sakae CR triple crankset 175 mm arms. It could use the anodizing stripped off the arms. Chainrings are 48/44/28

ISO: Sakae CR triple or double crankset with 170mm arms.

The lack of fender mounts and the suntour symmetric shifter mount make this a no-go for me. Thanks for your time!

Willing to trade just the arms and I keep the chainrings. These are 48/44/28. Would prefer to run 50-52/38-39 double. So would need a large directional Sakae CR ring.

I have a Sugino RT that's a look-alike to this set, if it's this "style" that you're after. 170, 52/40. Quite used. Significant chain rub on the inside of the DS arm. I can PM you photos tonight if you want.

Thanks - I prefer the Sakae version as it's a little lighter.

Looking for some early SunTour Superbe bits for my Griffon. My rear derailleur is date code TG (July '77), so that period, 77-80. This won't be a purist build (will be using one of Bob Freeman's Campy Ti conversion seatposts and Specialized hubs, for instance), but I'd like it to mostly look the part when I'm finished.Nice to have:I've got cash but would prefer to trade, if possible. I've got Campy drivetrain bits, brakes, etc, also some Galli stuff I'd let go, even a nice Huret Jubilee rear derailleur. Let me know what you need.

Last time I needed one of those I foind a similar one on an older base level Tektro caliper and modified it using a file.
Worked a charm. Try the local coop or LBS, lots of Shimano calipers ised a similar bushing. Not the same, but similar.

Downtube shift levers

ISO, WTB: 8 or 9 speed Shimano downtube shift levers in real good condition. I have some items to trade or can purchase with Paypal. Would like to keep cost under $50 for purchase, but willing to go higher for the right set. Sora level and up. Could possibly go for other brand.

How about a like-new pair of Shimano 105 (1055 series) 8 speed DT shifters? Not sure they were ever mounted.
$35 plus shipping.
PM me if interested.
