Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Never seen it. I hardly ever watch that kind of stuff.

But due to late night boredom in Dumb Dumbland (everyone went to bed at 10 p.m.) I did watch the first episode of this. Did anyone watch it?

We just finished the series this afternoon. It leaves far more questions than answers. It is very good and I suspect it takes multiple viewings and a solid foundation in the classics to fully appreciate.

Cut a couple of lawns. Performed other springtime yard activities.

Benson supervised.

Maybe (if they're actually in it) they'll go to the Knoxville regional.

It seemed like there was potential, but the first episode started out really slow. I was curious if it got better.

It is a slow burn, but if you can walk away halfway through without dying of curiosity you're not human.

Interesting. I feel I already operate this way. I am a completely different person when I am at work.

Time. I have a very busy week. Seeing if an old friend can install a new one. Was starting to cook this evening and the hot water was lukewarm. Went to the basement and found it leaking from the bottom. The thing is over 17 years old.

Between that and the cut tire, this has been a bad day.

I assume that feeling is how the premise started. My one fear is that they don't have a real plan and just threw a lot out there and don't have the wherewithal to bring it home.

I've avoided it because I heard that it's can be pretty ******g depressing and disturbing. Yeah, I don't need that from my entertainment.

I didn't read the article but, the other day, I saw something in my feed along the lines of, "GRRM can't understand how fan disposition can retroactively change, going from loving something to hating it."

I LOLed and kept scrolling.
