Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Have you seen the new Madone? Either there's gains to be had or they think they've got a great marketing winner on their hands. I would guess a pinch of both.

I do not see post likes on my iPhone. Before I came to BF on my lap top this morning I guessed that I got 159 likes while I was on my trip. The actual number was 157. Pretty damn close.

Time to open Outlook and see how many work emails I have.

I figured they have a Dyson or equivalent airflow generator in there to make it faster, possibly.

Our new PCP is a pleasant individual. Mrs. rjones28 is putting their PCP skills to the test. So far, so good.

if you see 50 to 100 patients a day your 2% guesstimate is correct. I think 50 patients day is a lot but I won't quibble so 2% of 50 is one Vol removed from the patient list. I say it is a plausible plan.

It's not 50/day more like 20-25. Some days I have 100% nice patients. But most days I have one or two troublesome trucks. Maybe the 2% needs to be changed to 10%.

Dottery.
self-descriptive word of the day
I'm two weeks out since I began sleeping until 7:30, instead of my usual 5:00. With the result that my morning back exercises have fallen by the wayside and thus my left hip/leg is acting up and in pain again.
I had hoped to ride today, but again slept until after 7:00. Alas.

Hey y'all - I put ride with GPS on the cell phone and sent a route to it; you need a subscription with ride w/ GPS in order for it to navigate or push the route out on your phone...

If you have a bike gps / garmin - the garmin is going to get the file and then self-navigate, correct? I don't need a ride w/ GPS membership in order to have it work correctly on a garmin.. just... on the phone it does need it.

Trying to make sure I understand the ins and outs of ride w/ gps before I decide to make a go at a garmin; and or why I'd even WANT the Garmin.. if my cell could do it.

How much more time do you have to spend with the PITAs, and do they result in proportionately higher fees?

I've never had a RwGPS membership, not when I was running a Wahoo and not now with a Garmin, but routes have always made it on to my head unit (I have since switched over to creating routes on Strava, though, which does require a paid membership). I've never pushed them from the phone app, I don't think that I've ever used the phone app, but that's not an issue if you're able to plan ahead just a smidge.

edit: oh, okay - you're primarily asking about the nav features in-app on RwGPS. Can't help you there, sorry.

Basically I can use my cell phone AS the 'gps/bike computer' but it requires $50/year to go to ride w/ GPS.

This is the nonsense I'm writing about mid-work-meeting.

I use RwGPS to download routes to my Garmin, and have never paid anything.

Have never used a phone.

Way more time but fees are dictated by insurance companies so same payment.

Just say no to drugs, at least in this case. The value for treating slightly elevated triglycerides is low.

I think this analogy is spot on. Most NP/PA I’ve worked with take little time and and aren’t very good.

For what it’s worth- we pay DOs and MDs much more than lower levels of licensure. A low office visit E&M (20 minute visit) for an MD is like $125
