Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wonder if you could stop and ask these chasees, at the moment they broke out the windscreen and starting running, if they would say they genuinely believed they could escape the ten police who are pursuing them?

There is more to it than that, but yeah, the healthcare system is dysfunctional in many ways.

what is a physician assistant? Twice I have had to meet with one because my Doctor was unavailable. To me it seemed she could do everything my Doctor could do. My co pay didn’t care.

I dunno exactly, but I just wind up getting appointments with a PA, not that there's a doctor who's unavailable. The one I've been booked with twice was very nice about putting things in my butt.

It's not cycling, it's Peloton.

Still tanking. Acme Lithium is still my best-performing individual issue for this year. Everything else is poo.

My portfolio is still beating the S&P500, so there is that.

The stock market has been driven by FOMO for years. Now it's being driven by FOHTB (Fear Of Holding The Bag). Nobody wanted to be the last guy buying Peloton, now everyone's afraid of being the last guy selling it. The Wisdom Of The Market is about as good as The Wisdom Of A School Of Minnows.

No experience with Hutchinsons, but it's a low risk opportunity to try them out.
I used Hutchinson glue to glue my tubulars to the rims. It worked well.

Their Johnny Lunchpail road tires like those Fusions are just OK. I never tried any of their high zoot $500 per pair ones though.

LOVED their Piranha MTB tyres! Sooooo fast, Soooo light. Wore out kinda quickly but totally worth it. They don't make them in 26er anymore though

I was blowing off the street at the neighbours and lo and behold a properly-outfitted cyclist comes rolling down the hill! Very rare to see one in the hood.

I waved. He did not wave back. So it goes.

He got to the bottom and then turned around. Hill repeats?

Bar tape is here!

And a couple of other goodies. Man those DougRNS approved seatposts are heavier than I remember, might have to cut off unneeded length.

Why do you need a seat post?
