Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tale of the scale:

DougRNS approved seatpost saves a quarter pound over the stock Kent Glendale seatpost.

I have my own bias, but in terms of training/education/competition to get there, I stand by my analogy of PA : doctor :: Paralegal : Lawyer.

But generally in the eyes of the system, PA = Nurse Practitioner = Physician, except the PAs and NPs are much nicer than the mean and angry physicians.

Has anyone ever calculated the marginal gain of an aero seatpost? Seems like more trouble than it's worth, proprietary and/or hassle-laden parts and so much turbulence down there. I am guessing it's miniscule.

That must be it.

Honestly, MOST of my patients are lovely. It's like being a cyclist on the road. MOST cars are courteous and pass safely without trouble. But there are a small minority that are french showers. Same thing with patients, just one or two of those types in my day make me cringe.

I'm sure if you got a pleasant patient like me it would offset 3 french shower Vol types.

Why didn't you take your bike and drive? We could have had a hot Brown Squirrel extravaganza.

you need to get one with a 2.5 cm set back. Unless you don't have freakishly long arms.

Are we speaking of cyclist flatulance boost? Sounds inappropriate...but if it adds .005 watts, hell yeah.

25 cm is a LOT of setback. 2.5 cm is more appropriate. 3/4" is in the ballpark.
