Did you smoke past us on a downhill in the Marin Century this year, shortly after the 1st rest stop? We were impressed with your speed and cornering ability. There's something to be said for a low center of gravity.

That must have been us. We're not too fast going uphill, but we get the job done. We also took it on the Napa and Foxy ride in Davis and took it up Mt Diablo the first time on January 1 of this year. Just a blast going down it.

I hadn't seen this one until recently. It was taken during the Davis Double.

Stash or Tool Bottles they replace a saddle bag. I bought them from Soma fabrications. I am not sure who makes them but I have also seen them with a logo from one of the San Diego shops that caters to triathletes. I had extra bottle pegs put on the bike for 2 tool bottles and 1 frame pump.

I think I ran into you guys on the Katy Trail... my 5-y/o son and I were riding back to Saint Charles from an overnight campout down at Klondike State Park. Green Cannondale RT1000 with a kid stoker setup.? We were in a bit of a hurry to get back, but I think we chatted briefly.

After considering a tandem purchase (and posting frequently on these boards) for almost two years, we finally pulled the trigger on an '08 Cannondale RT3 (on super clearance sale) a couple of weeks ago. Today was the first day warm enough for us to be able to ride it! It fits great and the ride is spectacular. We can't wait for the warmer spring and summer days to come!

There are a couple of very enthusiastic teams from your hometown that post here on occasion and participate in lots of rides all over. Good luck trying to keep up with them!

This is one of our favorite sections of a local trail. It has a short run with a small climb of maybe 6 feet. As you crest the climb, the frames lower tube will drag in the dirt crossing the peak. The down side of the berm that was climbed has a very deep rut / along with a deep hole from folks braking. The as you "drop in", the trail bends to the right then climbs out again. Thing is if you don't make the right hand corner, well you go into a canal.

Yes we are happy tandem couples when we ride this section.

From our weekly night ride suffer-fest!
This route is only 25.8 miles but with 3644 feet of climbing. Lots of sections of >10% or even >15%

Yeah, I'm guessing the slow shutter speed at night turned my lights into the light sabers shown in the pictures

- The bar light is an MTE (MC-E LED) 8-mode flashlight mounted with a Two Fish LockBlock. Uses one 18650 model Li-Ion battery. I bring one spare battery for the ride.
- The helmet light is a DiNotte 200L-AA (Also LED, I forgot what type)

Both lights were on medium in the picture. I am very happy with them.

PS - Here's the route from last night. --> https://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path...-Hastings-Club

I have really enjoyed this thread very much. So time to add my 2 cents : 2 pictures of our trip across the alps from Geneva, Switzerland to Menton, France Cote d'Azur and back last summer.
