Yes, mine was too. First clipless ride. After about 20 miles I was thinking, "Maybe everybody doesn't fall over?" The very next traffic light I stop at, I topple. Unclip left foot, bike leans right. About 20 cars stopped around me.
In the long run, it's for the best. I remember this every time I have to stop.

Gunna kick myself in a few weeks... but my tax return just went to...
Clif Shot Bloks BUY ONE GET ONE FREE Orange (BOGOF) 2 $3.02 $6.03
Clif Shot Bloks BUY ONE GET ONE FREE Strawberry (BOGOF) 1 $3.02 $3.02
Descente Winter Sock (Black/Metal) Medium 1 $2.60 $2.60
Look Delta Cleat Covers For Delta Cleats 1 $8.00 $8.00
Look Delta Cleats Red (Floating) 1 $12.55 $12.55
Michelin Pro 3 Race Tyres 700c x 23mm - 8 Colours! Black 2 $33.29 $66.57
Prorace Windtex Coated Winter Bib Tights Without Padded Insert Size 4 1 $23.35 $23.35
Tacx Tao Bottle Cage with free bottle Silver 2 $10.21 $20.42
Also, I bought Williams System 30's w/ wheel bad on Monday. I am leaving right now to go get a new chain and cassette put on my bike. I probably should have bought them online too, but I was going to have the LBS put the cassette on anyway, so I figured I'd throw them a bone or 150...
So my 5 day total
135.41 from PBK, 542.50 from Williams, and TBD from LBS (677.91)
And before I get flamed for lending the Gov tax free money... I claimed single and 2 on federal would have got back 120... + student loan interest + 300 from last years stimulus it ended up being almost 900... I was shocked

Bought a Sigma 1606L DTS last night. Probably going to order 2 Tacx Taos this week and maybe a new helmet after I try some on.

Brakes for my budget, weight-weenie, franken bike:

Picture 5 year old TCR frame, dura-ace 7800, nashbar shifters, these brakes, williams wheels, ritchey WCS pedals (why I chose pedals that are hard to find I don't know) and a cluster fudge of cockpit components. I'm trying to buy everything state-side and do my part for the struggling economy as well

Bikes: One brand-less build-up, and a Connondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc. A nicer bike than I need, but it was a good deal, so... ;-)

Tools, so I could quit having to raid my "automotive" tools (it's a PITA to have to remember which toolbox something is in).
