Because it’s not a native species to this continent, and the media certainly did a little research before publishing the story.

Hey Phrantic when you die of old age can I have your cervelo?
Happy Birthday!
Man, I just had a nightmare experience. Scrolling through what I thought was the 41 and I couldn’t find the addiction thread. I was surrounded by questionable topics. Wasn’t until I scrolled to the top I realized my mistake. “General”

I use my apple watch for my alarm. Using the vibration function, it’s quiet and doesn’t wake up my wife or Simon. Sometimes I have to hit snooze if I am too tired and it resets for 9 mins. This morning I had it set for 3 am. I don’t have any recollection of hitting snooze, but Simon woke me up at 3:50. Now I am confused, did my alarm fail? Did I fail to set it? Did I sleep through it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Drama continues with this ******g split system.
“Fix” on Friday didn’t work. Owner of the company that did the install has been in contact with us since then. He spoke with the manufacturer yesterday and they are trying one more thing, if it doesn’t work, he’s pulling the whole thing out and replacing it with a system from Samsung. I feel bad that these guys are out so much labor on this job, but, I guess that’s business.
Also quietly turned 43 Monday, ugh.
To offset all of that, I just found out the size of my annual bonus, more than 2x my “target” which is crazy. Might be time to do that pool…

This is Flaco, an escaped Eurasian Eagle owl that now lives in NY's Central Park. He is almost certainly the only Eurasian Eagle Owl living wild in the United States. I can't get over how great this photo is in terms of both the lighting and the focus, particularly in the eyes. It is extremely difficult to get the focus right when there are branches in front of the subject. And the lighting . . . that's Hollywood style lighting which is impossible to pull off when your subject will easily lose patience and fly off before you get set up. Just a stunning photo.

Mrs. GJ doesn't like scents, so no cologne for me. Or scented deodorant. Or scented soap. Or dishwashing liquid, or detergent, etc. It's not a chemical sensitivity, she just doesn't like them and she's got a fairly sensitive nose.

Just put up 2 more wall mounts in the garage. Now I have all 5 road bikes hanging on the wall. Only issue, these 2 are not easily accessible, I have to have the ladder to get to them. Mrs Bam’s Domane is officially on the trainer, and the treadmill is set up.

No, never hated them. Just bought the wrong size. It was my first new real road bike, should have prolly bought it at a local shop instead of online. I was so new to the sport and of course Competivie Cyclist won’t tell you what size you need. They don’t want the fall out on them. If I found a C3 in a 58 for a good price I would grab it and build it. Tire clearance was nice, and the frame was pretty light.
Edit: and I really do like the Soloist, and the S5 space ship. Not sure I would ever buy one, but if it fell into my lap I wouldn’t be complaining. A guy I ride with has 2 of the space ships.
