Changed out my car battery that was dead today after 34 months. This is battery 3 for a 4.5 year old car. The thing was under warranty and it was free at the parts store where i got it. Not prorated, strange. Changed engine air filter on one car and got a cabin air filter* for the other. will install later since its been 13 months and 11,000 miles and still looks as clean as my colon. I'm storing it in the glove box so I can't miss it. **** big oil change. I saved $30 by doing it myself.
I wish I could find an independent shop but they don't exist around here. My dad had an auto repair shop which he started in August 1960 and my older brother is now running it. Independent shops are dinosaurs which is sad.

I am getting 10 years/battery on the Saturn so at 24 it’s on its 3rd battery but that one I just got 3 years ago. We have LOTS of independent repair shops here, the dealers are a ripoff compared to the indie guys. We do take the Fit to the dealer still since occasional snags are covered under warranty.

We had a good ride. It was a group of 10 riders and we are all roughly at the same fitness level, and reasonably organized. We did get yelled at by a driver in the opposite direction, we were riding two abreast, and he yelled “SINGLE FILE *******S!!” He was obviously triggered.

If they were honest, they'd just yell, "Stop doing **** I don't like!"

You need a carrier solvent. I'd suggest urine. It's sterile - unless you have an STD or UTI - and it's mostly water, The Universal Solvent. It may attract flies, however.

I don't recommend getting urine on your bike. People will think you're a triathlete. Once while peeing in the desert the wind blew some pee onto the hot motorcycle engine. Oofda.

My wife determined it was my shorts pushing out my belly, and suggested I pull them up for the girdle effect. It worked.

I've been doing granola with soymilk, as a protein boost late afternoon. My wife makes it for me. She's gone this afternoon,so I went out to do it myself. First I put the dry dishes away. I dropped a glass on the granite counter and, of course, broke it. Next I picked up the glass canister of oats. It also slipped my grip and broke on the edge of the island. I got blood on both hands from that one. I took a chance and used some of the oats anyway. I was barefoot, and made my way to my way to my Wellies for the cleanup operation. I felt a light crunch during bowl #1, and spit it out. There is a little bit left in the pan, for seconds, in case I want more. Thankfully, a cast iron skillet is not a threat to break and bloody me yet more.
