Levers to match the Dia-Compe 450 center pull brakes from the other week for a currently non-existent future project. Also a set of "gum" hoods from SOMA. A bit more translucent amber than gum, kind of unimpressed with the color. I also got a set of hoods in black which look good. I may end up ordering from Rustines to see if their gum color is better.
Currently "out for delivery" today: non-aero Superbe brake levers (future recipients of the black SOMA hoods), a carbon Campy Record sq taper bb, and Park Tool BBT-5/FR-11. I'm trying to wrap up a few projects that have been stalled for a while.

Courtesy EBay.co.uk - Is it just my imagination or is a used Brooks from the UK as authentic as it gets? I have scenes in my head of this saddle traveling from pub to pub to fish and chips eatery to jolly jaunts around the English countryside. It’s been adopted in America now.

- Sugino Super Maxy crank and bottom bracket

Today was a good day for Scrooge McDuck!
Restocking some of the gold mine items from a few vintage sellers.
Headset parts with a couple of loose items that came with them. About six of the race assemblies will go to the chrome platers for restoration. It will drive the cost up a bit but they will be correct and pretty shiny when done.
More work to get the parts correct but needed as they become more and more unobtainium. Smiles, MH

Going Bling
Finally got my Panto bits from Greg. I got the chain rings a while ago and now , today , I got the shifters (early style for my ‘75). I also got some new rim decals for my Super Champion wheels, the originals are pretty tattered. For those who don’t know, Greg Softley is a very good source for this stuff. His prices are great and has quite the selection of quality stuff for that special project. Cyclomondo is the name of his site. He deserves a shameless plug!

Saw this $45 Rolls on Craigs a week ago, but it took a while to connect with the seller. Scheduled a meet today an hour's ride away with 2% chance of rain, and of course it's a heavy drizzle the whole time. 
I don't want to reschedule, as he seemed not the patient type. Turns out he was a very nice guy. And had a gorgeous saddle with ti rails! This is going on the Bottecchia.

Got in some used but nice Fulcrum Wheels. Listed as Fulcrum Racing 1's but they weighed in at 1446 grams for the set which is a lot lighter than my other Racing 1 wheels.

I think this is probably a bargain: £30 on Ebay for a Wright's Swallow in what looks like very good condition:
Leather is 4mm thick and slightly flexible, no visible cracks, slight rust on the chromed cantle plate.
Can't see a date stamp anywhere but that's normal I think, I'm guessing 60s or 70s.
Update: Found "B 67" marking, so that's Feb 1967 I believe.

The box shows signs of a "Thelma Approved" label.
And a bit of FedEx customization.
But the contents seem to be unscathed. Further unwrapping later and perhaps a thread of it's own.
I hope this one is going to replace a Pino that is leaving as soon as I can find a new owner for it. Smiles, MH
