What little I found makes me think its a lower model. With what appears to be missing its looking like a money pit at that price so probably part it out if anything is worth while and sell the frame to a hipster.
Screw it, going to take the money and buy a Trek 730 that needs very little tomorrow at lunch.

beautiful vintage univega gran tour bike bike has had very very little use and looks just about new the bike has just had a fresh tune with shifters and brakes adjusted for maximum effincey and some fresh grease applied the bike is built up with kind of a mix n match of components but they all come together very well to function perfectly the frame is tange triple butted cro mo in a small size good for a wide range of riders and uses very cool cantilever brakes could also be turned into a vintage cyclocross bike components include shimano cantilever brakes and front derailleur OFMEGA down tube shifters and rear derailleur very cool sugino double crankset (but room for a small ring making it a triple!) with 52/40 teeth rings and nice 8 spd sram cassette in the rear the bike also uses a nice vetta italian very comfy saddle for long rides wheels are 700c with alex rims and brand new tires and tubes also included is a nice aluminum rear rack for carrying cargo or panniers
the bike measures
53cm seat tube center to center
54cm top tube center to center
with a 100mm reach stem so riding the bike you will be rather stretched out
also included but not pictured will be basic platform pedals and a water bottle cage

It's on Ebay, with a starting bid of $899 and "Buy It Now" of $1,099. . I'd guess that some "do gooder" got disgruntled when they weren't first in line and told the seller that the bike was worth a grand. Unfortunately, it's not. It's fairly well worn, has the newer graphics, a hodge podge of components, poor photos, no size listed, and a seller with obviously no experience in shipping bikes (feedback rating of 2).

Absolutely beautiful Italian made Simoncini steel road bike frame. This is a fine vintage frame. Made with top Columbus SLX tubes, Campagnolo dropouts, and with Dura Ace Bottom bracket and headset bearings. The bike features internal top tube cable routing and a sweet engraved logo on the head tube. Despite the frame showing some age and wear the paint has a great unique look to it. The entire frame was chromed, then painted over that.. So the painted areas have a mirror sheen to them. Great looking frame - and the finest Columbus steel.
Condition has plusses and minuses.... Plusses being that it has no dents, good bearings and no real problems. it shows it's age, though. There is a bit of rust at the front lugs - nothing heavy. Some wear to the top tube and around the BB shell. Also the decal is starting to peel some. Still a great looking bike just be prepared that it shows some use. Looks great with the paint scheme. Classic Italian panache.
Frame is stamped 56 on the BB shell. Here are my measurements...
Seat tube - 56.5cm ctc
top tube - 56 cm ctc
head tube length - 150
seatpost - 27.2 mm
BB shell - Italian threaded 36x24F
fr. derailleur - braze on
brake mounts - recessed alan
rear hub spacing - measures 128mm (would easily stretch to 130mm for current parts)
wheel size - 700c
tubing - Columbus SLX

Absolutely beautiful Italian made Simoncini steel road bike frame. This is a fine vintage frame. Made with top Columbus SLX tubes, Campagnolo dropouts, and with Dura Ace Bottom bracket and headset bearings. The bike features internal top tube cable routing and a sweet engraved logo on the head tube. Despite the frame showing some age and wear the paint has a great unique look to it.
