Clamp on shift levers, 4 new brake pads, tubing for shifter cables, and handle bar tape. All to help fix up a maybe 50 year old road bike that I haven't used in over 20 years.
Next might be new tires and inner tubes since the current ones are also over 20 years old. Tires are dry rotted and I was actually surprised the inner tubes hold air

I was hoping to test this out today but we had an unexpected rain so will have to wait. The stock Phenomp comp saddle worked for me for 3 years but hasn’t been great lately so trying something new.

A pleasant surprise when Lynskey sent me the tracking # last week when originally, I was expecting a shipping date of 6/30. I haven't bought a complete build in over 10 years so of course, a couple things that need to be swapped out and brake cables shortened. In the meantime, getting some miles on the trainer on my Helix #2 as I slowly get back to my riding position after rehabbing for the last 5-6 months.

A well taken care of Garmin Fenix 5. I don't use much to track my cycling but it's nice to know it's there if needed. Purchased it off a cycling genius I know and he always takes care of his watches before upgrading to the newest model.

Ordered a 120mm stem for my Domane as the stem that comes on the bike is a 90mm, which in my opinion is just stupid small. Should be a 100 or 110 for a 54.

I went with the 110, iirc the 120 was not available at the time. No regrets for going long with reach.

New chain for my gravel bike...KMC X11SL. Factory lube cleaned off, chain installed, and a fresh coat of Silca Super Secret drip wax lube applied.

yea it was a little pricey for what it was, but it is worth it. I ended up selling mine on eBay for about $75 after 10 years worth of use, so I was very happy with that. I used a small strap to keep the front wheel from spinning and moving, it did not come with one at the time, but they might now. If not, that is something you should consider.

Yea I started to go with 110, however, the new bars I have sweep back a little, so the 110 would have still not been enough. I had a 120 from an old bike and I put it on my Emonda and I found it so much better than the 110 I was testing. The Domane has 5mm shorter reach than my Emonda, so while it won't be perfect, I should be ok and get me in a better position. I was afraid a 130 would be too much, but I have 30 day to see, so if it is still too short, I can swap it for a 130.

I just bought a Skeap digital luggage scale ...not for my bikes per se, but because I'm trying to sell a couple of electric bass guitars and apparently nowadays the first question out of every potential buyer's mouth is "How much does it weigh?"
But since I have this now, I threw a bike on the scale to find out whether I've been guesstimating correctly for all these years.
I have; with pedals, but without pump or saddlebag, the Sachs is exactly 18.75lbs. I've been telling people "it's probably between 18 and 19 pounds" ever since I got it.
$10 on Amazon.

New pads for the rotors, but will toss the new retention springs & keep using the old ones.... Not going to try dialing in those cheap grade springs..... Needs moar sprung in the spring!
