I had that feeling for a bit. I started buying bike clothes until I thought of more bike parts to buy. I have a power meter crankarm for my gravel bike coming Friday, and I'm currently looking into power meter options for my MTB.

I have significantly upgraded my cycling wardrobe this year. My latest score was a LeCol Sport Jacket, which is perfect for weather in the 50s, worn like a jersey with just a bas layer underneath. It's allegedly "Shower Proof", which I haven't been able to test yet.

There is a ritchey in Jacksonville Florida in my size for only 750.00. I have been eye balling for a couple of weeks. If it wasn’t 9 hour drive I would consider it. But other than that I’m content.









Velo, I would rather wake up early and ride on a day where I know everyone else is hung over and asleep than stay up late the night before.

Man, it is supposed to be 63 degrees tomorrow morning at 4 am. I’m so tempted to get a ride in.

Well the emonda creates one more bike part I would like to buy. It comes with 175 mm cranks but I am putting my 172.5 mm cranks because I have the stages. I would like to put the 175mm on at some point, so another stages would be needed. No rush though.

For the ritchey I would like a new fork. One with more tire clearance. Ritchey makes 2 forks but the one that would offer 32 mm tire clearance only comes in 1”1/8. I need 1”. Long term plans. Nothing Immediate.

It has fruit. The only ripe one (upper right portion of plant) I've seen has been half eaten by birds already so I'll pass on consuming any part of this cactus. Just a few big hunks to get to along the fence but I need to talk to the neighbor when he gets home before proceeding any further.

I'm content with the number and variety of bikes I have. Now, it's about fine-tuning the parts. Assuming all is well with my rear hub, my road bike is where I want...unless I spend big for Dura Ace Di2 complete kit, which would also require rebuilding the rear wheel with a Shimano-compatible hub, and a different power meter device. Those changes would be more than I paid for the bike. Not gonna happen. My gravel bike is very close...CF wheels, maybe. My MTB needs a power meter, but is otherwise pretty close to perfect. My trainer bike needs new bar tape (I have it, I just need to put it on. I can do it all by myself ).

The Lemond has a fork that'll clear 30mm tires no problem, but I'd like a new fork, don't really care about tyre clearance.

Torn between going lighter with a Columbus Minimal or going heavier (but sexier) with a Soma Corsa.

When the bearings went bad in my Record hub I wanted to just buy bearings but you need a special tool to press the inner one in and nobody wanted to do it. I called Velo Pasadena because I thought Don was a Campagnolo expert. He advised me to buy the whole freehub body because he said he couldn't get the bearing in right even with the tool.

Yes indeedy. 1" threaded. The Columbus is threadless, so I'd also have to source a stem to go that route. I think I already have 1" threadless headset in the junk drawer.
