Addiction 2023.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Still enjoying premium weather here, but we'll be in the same boat soon enough.

I like the original version better, even though it is a typical vinyl-quality recording.

Went for a tramp on the weekend. 44km of walking and my feet don't like me now.

Looking towards Mt Pots with the NW rain coming in.

Potts Hut with a faint Aurora Australis

Potts River

Was worth it though.

More than a marathon will do that, no matter the pace. I agree though!

Recently, I titled a Strava ride "To Aunt Ginny's" and a distant friend commented "Sweet." I haven't had the heart to tell her that Aunt Ginny's is a small café. I have no living aunts.

I have heard about these Montreal bagels and must try sometime. In the meanwhile, the NYC once are good enough for me. The local ones are not quite there, but any port in a storm.

I saw the title and because I figured at your age, any aunts are unlikely to still be around.

p.s. good thing you did not go to that other cafe called "My Lover."

I had four aunts that lived to their mid-90s so it is conceivable I could still have living aunts and uncles but I don’t.

Using an old version of QB isn't even current. Forget about futuristic.

As any real QB user knows, one can't use a version older than about three years because they turn off payroll functions and stuff if you don't update it. SMH

When you're on the cutting edge, you don't care about the end of legacy product support.
