Honestly though, that is the bike bike I really wanted, albeit with disc brakes. Just couldn't up the dough. Congrats. The citron is pretty. It must own those BK streets.

Here's my "new" bike for this season. It's a NOS Cannondale XTJ frameset. Started life as a complete, but when it didn't sell it was stripped and parts were sold off of it.
The frame's been hanging from the rafters of the shop where I work ever since.
It's built with a BEER Components EBB, new 105 cranks, take-off bin TRP Euro-X brakes, and wheels and some Cane Creek levers I swiped off of my old CX bike.

I have learned to handle bikes quite well with handlebars level with the saddle. If this was a custom built frame, I would have the head tube high enough to allow a level stem. But it is what it is.

2013 RedLine Conquest Carbon Team. Ordered the frame from my shop that sponsors us and basically took all components off my 2010 TCR Advanced. Had an extra Red Crank set from my Jamis Xenith Elite and shazaam! These are my Velocity A23 rims running Tubeless with Vittoria XN mounted for practice/pit wheels. My race wheels are 24/28 Hed C2's with Chris King R45's and Sapim CXray spokes that will run tubeless as well. Early practice runs have been sweet. She ways in at 16lbs 4oz as is with a 1X10 (42, 11-28). Sorry about the crappy cell phone pic!

1988 Peugeot Triathlon, 49d cranks, DC centerpulls, orig 105 derailers, unfortunate Easter egg color. It fits better than I could have ever imagined a bike fitting. I worry that I will break it someday. That will be a sad day.
I wish I could find a pump long enough to use the li'l peg under the top tube.

Just got my first cyclocross, mostly for commuting. Stock BD bike with just a couple of accessories (BD bikes are the A-cup of bike porn, I know). This bike gets me all the way to downtown Chicago from my home in the suburbs. Here it is on the CTA Blue Line. My favorite part is going up and down the stairs to/from the L.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
It is a far easier bike to propel than one would think... I have one leg that does not work at 100% and the low contact pressure on those 4 inch tyres offsets the weight, the lower gearing, and fact it maintains it's speed fairly easily means that a gimp like me can ride this over a lot of challenging terrain.
It climbs really well with the gearing it has (3 speed) and an 8 speed wheel is in the works for more of that.

I was following Bianchi's road bike wheel review earlier this year and did my own comparisons using the various wheels we have. I found that the "heavier" wheels, we're talking a difference of 1.5 lbs, were slower climbing but sure seemed to carry speed on the flats. I can only imagine that those tires would carry a bit of momentum. Would be interesting to try out, however none of my bikes (yet) would accept tires that wide.
