Wow, some great riding, great pics!
My sweetie and I took the tandem out for 38.2 miles today. The weather was trending to warm but dry so the riding was great.
One goal was to ride the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. There is a nice park with a lake and a beach near the middle. When we got there expecting to eat a quiet lunch we found some "doings" going on, a Children's Ride affiliated with the Pan Mass Challenge. Really nice. Or rather, to use the word of the day, awesome!
Then we rode to the southern end, which sort of stops for now though it will eventually be extended further.
Of course the weather was predicted to produce thunderstorms in spots. We tried not to ride though any spots but one almost caught us on our return to the car. Felt a few sprinkles but nothing serious. Then we drove off to a farm stand and the sky opened up! Good timing, I say. Or rather, fortunate timing.

It was beautiful out so we rode out to a lake to enjoy the beautiful day. Proceeded to get caught in crazy thunderstorms and hail, wound up spending most of the time taking shelter in a park bathroom. Oh the places you'll go...

I returned today from a 5-day tour through eight states and the District of Columbia. It started on the overnight Amtrak from BOS to DC. I was on my @gugie-650B-converted 1971 Raleigh Int'l.
This morning, I caught a train from New Haven to New London and then followed a route I've ridden previously with @gugie and a local friend when we headed back to Boston after Weigle's French Fender Day in 2017. I passed the Connecticut/Rhode Island line:

The Fuji is my zero bike. Doc Cannondale was of course on a sweet Cannondale.
I didn't get many pics, which is too bad because it was a beautiful route. Hugh and Doc were very patient waiting for me to catch up throughout the day. I left my riding legs in Oregon. Here's a pic a snapped while I was stopped to check the cue sheet.

No place special, just Home Despot to get some pipe insulation to protect a bike I'm shipping out. Fortunately, I had the presence of mind to consider how I might carry the stuff home before I left and grabbed a couple trouser straps. A kid and his mom were sitting at a picnic table when I loaded up and left. He looked at me kind of strange. Can't imagine why...

45.9 miles on the Grandis today. Lots of bikes out, good weather.
I had an interesting experience on today's ride. I was on my way home, about 20 miles to go though mostly semi-rural roads. I came upon a seemingly 40-ish to 50-ish, very in-shape couple stopped over on the grass, the woman on the phone, the guy's bike on its side. I slowed and asked if everything was okay, they said no, not really, he'd had two flats and they were trying to decide if she should ride off to get their car. He'd had one tube, no patch kit. She had neither. So I gave them my spare tube and hung around to make sure they had everything under control. While the guy pulled the tire off (all the way off, both beads), the woman said she'd never fixed a flat in her life. I told her she must lead a charmed life, that I could go months commuting without one and then have several in a week.
So the the guy says "If you don't mind my asking, how old are you?" I said I turned 70 last November. They were, um, impressed, said that's really great. He said he was 59 (older than I would have guessed) and he wanted to keep biking for as long as he could. I think it made him happy to see someone older than he just biking happily along.
Then he starting trying to pump up the tire. My tube had a shorter valve stem and his mini-pump wouldn't grip it through his aero rims. I suggested he tighten up the knurled nut that holds it to the rim. Still no go. So I pulled out my trusty full-size Topeak and promptly pumped up the tire to maybe 70psi. He said he normally runs about 80. I didn't ask to see the blown tubes but I suspect he hit a pothole and got pinch flats on both wheels. Anyway, it was good that I hung around. When he had the wheel back on the bike we said our goodbyes.
I made it home safely with no flat. Well, I did have a patch kit for backup.
Just another day on the road.

37 miles through the Somis foothills, south of Ventura, CA. I am pretty well finished with the '78 Super Course that I found as a $20 CL frame, fork and few other bits, back in February. It's a great ride. I finally put new faux leather bar tape on. I like the feel, and it matches the saddle pretty well. I had a chain drop, first time on this bike. I was pointed uphill, no forward speed, so I had to jump off and put the chain back on, without getting my new bar tape all greasy. The paint is patina passable, but I'm debating new decals and clear coat. It photographs pretty well from 10 ft away. Anyway, great ride with my club mates on mostly carbon. Good times!

It was a "specialissima" ride only because I was originally trying to talk myself out of it... "just got out of work, too hot, too humid..." I compromised with myself and did a short ride.

Took a nice 20 mile or so ride to the top of one of the local dirt road passes and back nice weather and there were finally some fellow bikers out on the bike trail which is a nice change last 6 months or so there has been no one on the trail.

I have no pics to post. I never have pics. 
I rode the bike path along the beach. The marine layer rolled back, the sun was shining and a gentle breeze was blowing. It was beautiful,... and so was she. ;-)
It's always the same route, some days longer, some days less. What is never the same, the thing that keeps that ride fresh and interesting, is the people you see. They are always different and ever-changing. It's nice.

I'd keep the bike's paint and decals as they are now. Perhaps rust proof any scratches and chips and clear coat after that.
