Not a classic or necessarily even desirable, but I'm posting this because I finally saw it OUTSIDE. It belongs to my next door neighbor and I saw it once years ago through the open garage doorway. This Worksman trike looks brand new and I'd be willing to bet it's never been ridden more than one time; down the block and back, then into the garage.

For What It Is Worth?
First time I've spotted something "In The Wild" worth mentioning!
Pickup pulled in with this Holdsworth in the bed. Owner was kind enough to let me examine it. Serial number suggests a 1978 factory build, and the Galli components would be consistent, though not listed in the catalog. It may have been a "Special" or special order frame, as the decals do not align with any of the models listed? Eyelets on dropouts rule out a "Professional," but that's alright as I like eyelets...

Spotted this lovely Falcon Sterling in Tofino BC a few days ago. The full Sante group looked good on this frame. Had a nice talk with the young owner who was pleased to have this old fart talking about the love of old steel.

Further research has me convinced it is a '78 "Special" model, which was available as a frameset.

The headset may be factory, I don't know and didn't pay it much heed, as the seatpost ears were pinched tight together. I told Joey he had the wrong sized pillar in there, and that I could provide him with an appropriate one. He expressed astonishment that I picked up on that, and said it was true and the post always slipped, until he took it to a Bike Shop where he had them "affix" it in place. I suppose my face belied my emotions, as he said "That's the expression the bike shop guys had when I asked them to glue it in!"
"What kind of glue?" I had to ask.
"Bike Glue?" he replied.
I sighed.
I don't think that seat pillar was original.
The Galli is interesting. I'd never seen it up close and personal. I'll likely see this bike again I imagine, and document the near complete group then.

reportedly the chainset is done by Verot
IIRC the gear ensemble is from Juy
i know the pedals are Maillard as i have a set of black quills with Galli marked dustcaps which are identical to the Maillard 700

This beautiful Nagasawa track bike showed up as I was waiting for my wife at the coffee shop post-ride. Dura-Ace high flange track hubs, Nitto seatpost and stem, Sugino cranks, Chris King headset. I thought I got another shot of the seat lug detail, but it must have failed:

I rode with a group of vintage bike enthusiasts up Larch Mountain this weekend. While we were milling about in the scenic viewpoint area, a guy rolled up on this DiNucci.
He says he bought it used from Sellwood Cycle in 2000, and he obviously rides it a lot. I'm guessing he rarely gets the kind of attention he did from a few of our group fawning all over this bike.
