Pricey. But if you are looking for a Riv, this one is available now.
Also, GRANT PETERSEN
As an editorial aside, it is always strange to me that the Rivendell aesthetic is to go with very low end spec on the "most complicated" parts (Sram Eagle derailleurs and Microshift shifters) and then go with ridiculously high end on the simplest parts (Paul brake levers, Nitto...)
And I can't get used to those "bordering-on-cargo-bike" long chain stays.
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...468419060.html
Selling for my friend who ordered two brand new Rivendell frames for herself and her partner. Apparently they decided that they should only keep one so their other Riv (an A. Homer Hilsen) stays and this one is up for sale.
It has seen no miles beyond a ride or two around the parking lot and the pictures show it. The frame was taped with helicopter tape to protect the paint before being built up. Everything is brand new. Details on this insane build, LOADED with Paul Comp, White Ind, Dynamo, etc. below.
Rivendell Joe Appaloosa, 51cm
Tosco 55cm Bars
Paul Motolite Brakes
ESI Chunky Grips
Paul Love Levers
Nitto Technomic 225 Quill Stem
Blue Lug Brass Spacers 5mm
White Industries M15 Rear Hub
Schmidt Son28
Busch & Muller IQ-X Dynamo Headlight
Velocity Quills rims
Ultradynamico Cava tires
Brooks Cambium C17 saddle
DT Swiss Competition Spokes
DT Swiss Brass 12mm Nipples
Stan's Tubeless Tape
Muc-Off Tubeless Valves
Riv Silver 38x24 with Guard
SRAM Eagle GX Derailleur
SRAM Eagle NX Cassette
SRAM Eagle GX Chain
Microshift SRAM Eagle Bar End Shifter
Paul Components Thumbies Shifter Mounts
Brake and Shifter Cables
If you've read this far you know what this is and it's worth. Asking price is less than what is into it, but not by much given everything is literally brand new.

If any of you Schwinnheads want a '75 Paramount that's been kept in a showcase condition, including the official tool kit and spare parts, and also has $2500 burning a hole in their pocket, consider this your lucky day!

The last year for lugged frames was 1993, so this is '94 on up until they started to use V brakes and wouldn't have needed the rear canti hanger. It's weird that the box o' parts has two front derailleurs: an Edge and a Deore. Frame size looks 21"

Excellent condition vintage Serotta road bike. Frame size is 59cm (center-to-top), top tube is 57cm (center-center). Ideal for riders 6' to 6'3" in height. Beautiful original metallic green paint, decals in great shape. Very lightweight, Columbus SLX butted tubing throughout. Components are Shimano 600 Tricolor 12 speed (now called Ultegra) with Campagnolo seatpost and hubs, Galli brakes, and Dura Ace shift levers, Shimano Look-style clipless pedals.
The bike just had a complete $120 tune-up, including:
- front and rear wheel truing

Serotta is one of the premier American frame builders. The bike delivers that classic lightweight steel ride that riders love and will give many years of great service. It needs nothing and is ready to ride. Serotta has been building bicycles since 1972. A new one will set you back a cool $11,000.
https://serotta.com
Asking $975 or best reasonable offer.

Well as we know, I'm as big of a Merz fan as anyone.
This pricing is very optimistic IMO, the frame he made for himself didn't even sell for that much here in PDX a couple of weeks ago.
And it is interesting to me that an insider that worked at the shop where this was sold new and later has to list on CL to try and move it along.
I paid less than that for the first two completes I have.
