24-70/2.8L. What impresses me more is its minimum close focusing distance. ISO400 f2.8 @70mm handheld :
No post sharpening. Just adjusted levels to eliminate the hue from my shop's fluorescents.

Bought my first cold weather gear. Hope I did well, not too hot or cold. Feel pretty good about what I paid (~$235 shipped for everything here).
Went w/ mostly Gore Bike Wear stuff as I find its one of the only few brands that fit me (tall and skinny).
Under Armour HeatGear Compression Long Sleeve Base Layer
Gore Power 2.0 Tights Short+ (needed new shorts anyways, plus the chamois in these feels WAY better than my Cannondale shorts)
Gore Power Thermo Jersey - Not my 1st choice of colors, but got it for $50, so went w/ price over color
Gore Power Long Gloves
Gore Universal Windstopper Soft Shell Leg Warmers

Bought some long tights, arm warmers, skull cap and ear warmer last week. Today I picked up a new seat wedge bag that's about twice as large on the inside as my current tiny bag. Now I should be able to actually carry a spare tube with me.

Picked up some used/warranty replacement 5700 105 shifters to gain the hidden cables over my 5600 105 shifters. Of course I rewrapped the bars at the same time. It's a whole new ride with the new tires I just installed, now running 25mm and everything is marvelous.

God, I love my 24-70. I find that bad boy attached to my 7d all the time. Though when I am shooting food, I'm more and more using my 100mm f/2.8 w/ IS L macro lens. (which the 24-70 has the same focus distance. )

You should give the TS-E 90 a whirl sometime, then. When it comes to food and small(ish) products, there's none better.

I got new wheels!
They're FSA RD-60 wheels and they ride great. Nice and stiff.

Just dropped almost $200 in nutrition products. Can't wait to try these out. Been training w/o any recovery products except for stuffing myself with a big meal post ride.

Finally got a new seat post to replace the greasy cut off post on the KHS. Now finally the fit is much closer to that of the road bike.

I bought a CAAD10-5 today -- but don't get it until Monday (wanted it in White, and they only had Black, so they've got to bring it in). Pretty excited. Next step is to explore clipless pedals.

Thanx. These are just some pics of a build that I've been working on the past month. I'm breaking the rules a bit since a lot of these items were procured over the course of the last year or so.
