Our '66 Ford SW has dual facing rear seats. My sister and I rode in those all the way to Montreal and back. In 1967, my oldest brother having just graduated from college, I think Mom and Dad wanted one last Big Thing with all of us before we kids went our separate ways. So, Dad rented a Coleman pop-up camper trailer and a hitch for the Ford, and we all went to Expo 67.

Yep. 12 years. My oldest 4 siblings were all born over 5 years, from 45-49. Then a 6 year gap before my sister, and another 2 1/2 years before me. So, the year I started 1st grade (no kindergarten in the district at that time) was my oldest brother's last year of high school.

Cycling related. I suspect answer is nothing, but the heels on my Sidi road shoes are worn down and clearly a challenge to extricate fixing bolts. Apply shoe goo for a heel?? Comments appreciated but please don’t report me to the ASPCS.

My friend takes his to the cobbler and has rubber heels installed. If that's a screw you can probably extract it with an easy-out. Does Sidi sell replacement heels?

What'd you end up doing to your back? Or.. just time itself?

No it's not. In the quasi-north we can go four straight days in the winter without seeing the sun. It's pretty miserable.

Ghosts from the past right? Hopefully I'm a little older and will stir less up this time around
. It's OK - funny enough I'm having issues where my right hip is consistently 'tight'. Probably from sitting/desk work and then the sitting position on the bike. I'm slowly easing back into riding, doing some 15mile-ish social rides; trying to get the fit on the Canyon finally dialed in instead of ignoring the issue(s).
What'd you end up doing to your back? Or.. just time itself?

My spine and vertebrae are fine but the disc probably needs to go. Burning pain on both sides from my waist down. No riding since April 2021.

Pretty crazy how in WA/OR how close the dark blue and orange areas are to each other.
