Dang it - I pulled a Bah Humbug and one of my Japanese knives got me
I just sharpened them last week, so they're shaving sharp, and was dicing onions for chili, when a horizontal slice met absolutely no resistance - the knife teleported straight through and caught my pinky on the other side of the onion. Sloppy, sloppy.

Heal up.

That's the rumor. Sharp knives are definitely the better choice (mine are due for a tune-up), but I've had more than 1 incident where I got sliced before I even realized it. It turns out that being careful where your fingers are in relation to the direction of the cut is kind of important. That said, I'm convinced that knives are ruthlessly blood-thirsty.

Wife and I were at a promotional event, and got some hot laps with a pro driver in a Panamera Turbo S (the biggest dawg). Dayum!

Any thoughts on the Leaf?? I have seen used ones fairly reasonably priced, but I don't know Jack about electric cars and their battery issues.
The turn-off for the Mini is not so much its range (as above all my trips are 20 miles or less), but the cargo space. The bike belongs INSIDE the car. Maybe the Leaf or Bolt have better cargo space.

In the lake effect area, (city and south) they are getting lots of snow. Up here in the northtowns we only have a couple inches at the moment. Expected to get ~8 more through Saturday.

I’m glad to live out of the belt now, it was always an interesting phenomenon though- you could 3 miles away from a place that got a foot and only have a dusting.

Mrs. GJ did this one in the middle of the night and when I got up she was feeling proud she'd gotten it. (Rango wanted to go sleep in the Living Room and insists on having company. She keeps humoring him, so he keeps doing it)

I'm getting back into Zwifting. Last night I rode in "London", and did a route with Leith Hill. It's about an 8-10 minute climb, average of 6.8%, so it's like 1/3 of Old La Honda. Seems like I'm in pretty good shape, climbing-wise, for someone my weight.
Speaking of weight, having now been stably in the 200-205 range for almost 2 years, I'm cogitatin' on trying to get down to the 190 range. That would require calorie counting again, but it would also make climbing easier. Supposedly, for my height, I'm "overweight" anywhere above 185. But I feel like 185 on me would be gaunt!

I'm a stable 200 guy, don't like my appearance at anything less than that. I'm 6' 3 nowadays.

Yes, I am 6'2". I'm about 200 pounds now with very little upper body muscle. Not quite at the point of having to ask the Mrs. to open jars for me but much less muscle than I had, say, 10 years ago.
I got close to 250 in high school with lifting weights 10 hours per week. Starved to 175 when I was 18-19 and got fat up to nearly 260 in my 20s.
Felt pretty good at 220 for a long time.
