Take a look at our Ride Schedule. We have over 400 members in Chicago and 70 suburbs. Rides start in many locations. All rides are no drop, helmet required. Elmhurst Bicycle Club Home Page

What type of cycling do you like? Road, MTB...? Fitness, race...? Those are key things to think about. check out Illinois Bicycle Clubs or illinoiscyclinf.org if you're into racing

Give a look to the South Chicago Wheelmen. One of the oldest clubs in the country.

^^^^ yes the are mainly road bike riders. check out napervillebikeclub.com as well. both seem to be solid clubs with decent friendly members. later.

Thanks I'll check it out. Im not retired, I don't have a $2,000+ bike (road or mtb) and I don't have any lycra gear and I don't do 40mile rides so I feel like I don't fit in with most clubs I've seen so far.

Folks on Spokes is a pretty good group. I did a few group rides with them a few years back, and really enjoyed the people I rode with. Their website is... Folks on Spokes
