Vintage Polchlopek Road Bike Macsteel
Looking for information and value info for a cool steel frame that just came into our shop.
Vintage Polchlopek 57cm road bike with mix of shimano 600 and ultegra components

Looks totally worthless. I'll take it off your hands though. My latest acquisition came from just down the road from you.
I do like the paint on it, oddly enough. How does the general workmanship appear?

Workmanship appears good. I'm going to take it for a test ride today. Its a cool bike but hard to find much info on.

Is it bonded steel? Equusbicycle has a couple of pics for Edmond Polchlopek (French builder):

The frame says macsteel... so based on the catolog pics... I'm guessing it columbus tubing. No oval chain ring... looks like the rings were replace with shimano rings. Any idea on value...
