Trek brings IsoSpeed to the mountain bike
This looks really interesting!
Singletrack Magazine | Trek 2016: Trek brings IsoSpeed to the mountain bike
Might be a really good compromise between light weight and getting a little compliance.

This is for the cross country weight weenie set I guess?
XC race oriented duallys are pretty light nowadays and pedal efficiently enough to win world cups and olympics so I would rather have 3'' of travel then a more 'compliance'.
ymmv
