That's a lot of $ to pay for a tube. Unless you need to be travelling ultralight, and even then, it's a lot of money to pay for a tube.

Yeah, I know, someone is going think it's fantastic and spend $35 on it. I wonder who around here would.

That "review" is a product shill. They didn't test it? Who cares if they didn't get a puncture, throw the damn thing in a tire and see how it works...

For 35$ this thing better be puncture proof in addition to being able to send/recieve email and pleasuring me sexually...

(or was that just a comment on the ridiculous expense?)

p.s. "Off road: Riding at lower pressure means better performance ... but at the same time it increases the risk of failures. The limit so far is at about 20 psi, below which it's hardly possible to dare to ride normal MTB tires."

This is false - I currently ride at 15f/18r without a ProCore gimmick.

It makes a twisted sort of sense. I want my smallest, lightest tube in my saddlebag. It's always there, every ride, dead weight taking up space and practically never gets used. Tires, and even tubes in the tires, come and go but the saddlebag tube could be there for years ... so $35 divided by how many years, isn't so bad. I kind of want one.

I'm most curious about the rolling resistance, and whether it'll make my tires hum louder.

I kinda thought that when I saw the article (ad) and contrasted these tube's weight and size with my 29 x 2.5 tubes, but then one needs special patches and cement for repairing these plastic tubes, and there is the issue of how these tubes affect ride quality and rolling resistance. So, I am saving my money for now.

But that's beauty of it, it doesn't matter as long as it stays in the saddle bag, which is basically forever.

And I thought $16 for a ~100g tube was dear.

Hmmm, unique concept. Odd that it is $200 for the kit, and only $27.52 for each tube.

To get the dual pressure zones, one has to have a tube with significant strength. For example throwing a tubular tire inside of the actual tire, and then figuring out how to also install a second tube over the top. Actually, I think the outer layer is tubeless. Double Drill the rim for two valves?

It's orange. If I could be talked into a super expensive lightweight orange tube (or any other color besides black) they better be throwing in a transparent tire so that the pretty color can actually be seen.

If it were clear & not a specific color, it might be transparent of how it was truly engineered.

For $35 I better be able to use the tube without a tire.

IMO, someone makes a product, if people see value, they buy.

Unless there was a question by the OP, end of story.
