Could be, hence the question mark on my sentence. Ad-hoc pump and tiny picture with fatter tubing makes it too difficult for me personally to call.

Cannondale's not my "normal" thing, I just happen to have a mid-80s SR500 60cm I really enjoy riding, the head tube on it looks shorter to me on that eBay bike I linked.

But regardless, I think it's potentially a great deal for someone on a bike I was shocked to find enjoyable.

If you live in or near Trenton NJ to NY, NY steal of a deal on Brooks, let alone the bikes!!!
I'd say buy the bikes, replace seats and sell the bikes to pay for your gas. Posted 6 hours ago

per ad: "Moving must sell: His and Her vintage Raleigh bikes"
"Vintage Raleigh bikes with Brooks seats. Some upgrades have been made to the bikes"

Bought a 26 inch Paramount to confirm so here we are. I can still ride all the other 62 and up bikes and frames that I have just fine but not buying anything smaller unless its way to good/cool/rare/obscure or cheap to pass on

I suspect there are a fair amount of us that have come to this sort of realization, I always knew I needed a big frame but they did not readily present themselves and I seemed fine until I finally got an accurate PBH/inseam measurement, almost 38in. I'm only 6ft tall so that is a bit unusual and really made it clear I needed the even taller frames.

I recently also had a proper fitting and they were surprised that I had the 60cm Gordon and the 66cm Merz both setup with near perfect riding position especially after completely settling in after riding 15-20 minutes on the trainer.

This one has all the cool bits from the late 80s: Bio Pace, hite rite, roller cams, under chainstays brake, bullseye hubs (and pulleys!)... Did these originally come with mismatched brakes / levers? Wouldn't Shimano U-Brakes been spec?

Rare mid Eighties Bianchi Super Grizzly mountain bike. - $600 (Torrington)

Rare excellent condition vintage Bianchi Super Grizzly. Not many were made , fewer survived . Great find for collectors of this period. Approximately 1986/87.

That Maruishi looks to be sporting a Tange Champion sticker but it's not a great picture so maybe not.
If so, that and Superbe components seems like a deal at $100.

What would a miyata 310 have to look like to warrant $650?

NOS?

Nah, not even NOS would anyone pay $650. Maybe $450. Maybe.

But who here would buy any bike without knowing what the seat tube looks like? Maybe if you were going to scrap the frame and keep the parts...

Rodriguez Lugged Road bike - $400 (Bellevue)

(more pictures in listing)
(mix of Shimano 105, Deore, Suntour Mountech...)
Selling a beautiful Rodriguez road bike with lovely lugs and solid parts. Has been in a garage for a while, so it could use a little TLC or you could hang it on your wall a piece of Seattle history. It is *roughly* a 54cm (see pictures with tape measure.

Vintage Rodriguez hand built 531 reynolds campy dropouts - $395 (renton)

(more pictures in listing)
(most or all Suntour Superbe, I think)
Beautiful condition and all original, hand built in Seattle by R + E cycles, 531 Reynolds all 9 tubes and forks, Campagnolo dropouts. 21" frame with 27" wheels. Paint is near perfect except for 1 patch (pictured) I have seen bicycles with these small areas touched up professionally to near perfection.

This is a "Cannondale 58"
That might be the best looking Cannondale that I have seen. The geometry looks aggressive.

If it wasn't a 7+ hour drive yeah. They are saying over on FB it might be bent. I asked for better pics.

You’re certainly long of leg! I’m 6 foot 3 with a 35 inseam. I’ve always. gravitated to 62, but the chrome Pro is a 64 and I still have a good 6-7 cm of seatpost out. On the other end of the spectrum, my PX-10 is way too small for me, 54 or 55. It was the bike my mentor had when I first started riding and wrenching back in 1972. He gave it to me about after I reconnected with him about 8 years ago so it’s got too much personal attachment to give it up. I’ve made it fit...and its a great-ride.

I know what you mean and that's my problem I already have at least 8 or 10 bikes and frames that are way to small that I bought as place holders and were pretty good deals also because in my twisted mind I had to have them.

A couple of them have attracted proper size ones but most weren't cheap enough to recoup much now that the market is soft, truth be told I probably never intended to sell them anyway, need to start planning to pass them along to deserving and unsuspecting friends and family.
