What a hot rod! My first 10-speed was a ’68 Varsity in that same green, so I have a soft spot for them. Are those 650B wheels and tires?

Yea they don't make them like they used to. Good to pull out once in a while to appreciate for what it is and what has come since the 70's. Those are 700c wheels and 700x38c tires.

This is actually a new bike I recieved three weeks ago, and it's a single speed but some here may appreciate it. Wabi Special with a lugged Reynolds 725 frame and their 1475g wheelset. Swapped on a Turbo saddle, Arundel stainless cages, an NOS American Classic post from the 90's and 27mm Challenge Paris-Roubaix open tubular tires. It has leather bar tape which I've never had before and after some break in I think I like it. One gear was good enough to race 100 years ago and they're still good today. My average speed is actually about the same as my geared bikes.

That Guerciotti is white-hot. Can't believe people hated fade paint back in the day.

I recognize that this photo is incorrect as it is not in the proper chainring and the cables are uncut and the valves were not properly lined up (though that is for good reason) but it is an accurate representation of the bike which is now completed (though I do need a different color cambium saddle to match better)

Here is all the info on the bike:

first pic i've posted on here of my Fuji Touring V made in 1984 which I found on the craigslist finds thread last year, it even came with the original saddle, receipt and manual. Really comfortable bike to ride. Farthest ride I've gone with it is 45mi on the d&l canal trail but I think I could go further, once the trail gets dry.

Just ‘finished’ this 1992 (Le) Kypo originally built by Rob Kypriotis in Traralgon, Victoria, Australia. Reynolds 531 or 525 tubing, Campy 8 speed drivetrain, Cinelli bars and stem, Concor saddle, all the good stuff.

Pedals are placeholders until I get around to ordering some clipless ones, or some nice Campy C-Rec pedals come up for sale cheap

Wow, lovely bike with that two tone paint. I see you gave the cranks a mexico treatment. The modern wheels look great on this frame.

Thanks! I've managed to sneak out early for a few rides on it this week and it is such a pleasure to ride. The 1st gen Ergo levers shift beautifully, too.
