Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Had a nice day of bike riding. Got together with a friend for a 50-miler and then we met up with some more friends, over wing and beer, for our first get-together in more than a year.

Sweet. If the color that my iPad is producing is accurate that’s an awesome color. Is it a flat finish, it looks flat.

There's a coffee/chocolate variety of KitKats out now - they're good.

The regular ones are fine.

Actually, if you're going peanut butter chocolate, why not go with the classic?

Good for Roscoe. Dog drugs work better than human drugs.

We've endured countless wearisome baseball posts here.

Then this happens, and no one says a word. (Bonus: Trainspotting content)

I like these. Not as good as the Linden bars and whatnot, but pretty tasty for $2.xx apiece.

Where are you getting peanut butter from? I said coffee, man.

Was never a fan of Nutty Bars, regardless. The holiday Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are decent, though - better chance of being more fresh than the regulars. Well, of you're getting some from a current/upcoming holiday.

Yeah, those are decent. Aldi has some decent chocolate bars on the cheap, too.

Well, I can say it - I'm too passionate about candy bars. I have to avert my eyes from the Reeses, Milky Way, and Snickers at the Safeway checkout. I either buy none, or I eat FAR too many.

Grilled monkfish kabobs with chorizo, cherry tomatoes and red onion finished off with an olive oil, lemon juice and cilantro drizzle.

Much better than Twix.

I can understand vices, but those types of candy just aren't mine... Now donuts and cheesecake, on the other hand...
