After I've ridden more than 69 repeats someone else can take me home.
Then later I'll invest in another dozen washers and install a third rail.

That's not a bad idea. When I swim laps, I often lose count. Not sure where to put the bungees though.

Seriously, you might like the Garmin swim watch. They count strokes - free, back, fly, not breast. Are easily changed from 25 yd. to 50 meter. Shows you how many yards/meters you've swam as you swim. They list at $149, I got mine at $75. Uploads your workout to Garmin connect.
