Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

On the other hand, people might show up today and start bidding against each other because that's the market here.
Around here, they'd buy if for the lot, knock down the house and build something else, right to the edge of the lot.

On one of those shows the house flippers didn't even do an inspection on the junky house. They just did a walk through and had to immediately decide if they were going to pay the asking price.

That might work, too, depending on how much it would cost to get rid of the house, permits, and new construction. Might be cutting it close to what the market will bear in this poorer area of the 'burbs.

Food news:

1. After Longwood Gardens last night, we got carry-out from PF Chang's. I imagine the PF stands for "Pretty Fake" but the eggplant dish I had was quite good. I am sure it had too much sodium and/or MSG in it, but it was good. Mrs datlas and my sister each had a different shrimp dish and they liked it too.

2. Daughter #2 works at what is arguably the best restaurant in the Philly suburbs. The top food critic for the Inquirer apparently had dinner there on Friday night and posted a glowing review on Instagram. If anyone is ever in my neck of the woods, the restaurant is called Andiario and it's worth checking out.

3. I have not had Chipotle sofritas for several months. #Overdue

You know what you need? Don't take the brakes off your bike as shown in the photo though!

I wonder if this YouTube channel would post a video of my quasi-run training?

Nope. We missed the storms. We were just on the north edge and just got a few sprinkles and a lot of weather warnings. Belleville, OK? My wife's grandparents lived on "A" Street in Belleville.

There's a highly stupid narrative that Brady hadn't had a real WR at the Patriots in years, because it was all slot receivers and elite tight ends. As if Edelman, Welker, and Gronk are chopped liver. But hey, have to pretend he's working with chumps.

1. is this funny or not funny?
2. Sofritas no longer to be named the Datlas if you continue to be a slacker.

He used to be a nice, humble guy. Success has turned him into a dick.
