looking for pics of a brooks c19 on vintage bikes
thinking about a brooks cambium c19 on a 1950 Claud Butler resto mod build. not sold on the idea, but i'm trying to save some weight but still have a good rider for a more inbetween/upright position.. seldom in the drops. i know that saddle isn't necessarily a lightweight either, but lighter than a leather saddle and i need something wide enough for my needs. i just can't get a mental picture of that modern looking saddle on my vintage
frame.... that will determine the rest of the mix of parts, like using a cottered crankset or square tapered alloy. anyone have any pics? don

Edit; looks like the 19 doesn't come in natural, only the 17 and even more spendy.

You could take the frame and a SP to a shop that has them in stock and mock it up. We have a couple of shops that have saddle libraries that you can check out a saddle to try. I think it will depend on the version, all black may be to sleek, the one with the organic/natural? under layer may be the one you want. I have one around here, not sure where.

I had a C.19 on an’73 Raleigh Competition with upright bars. I’ll dig up a pic. I ultimately decided it was just too wide for my arse.

This might or might not be helpful.
A few years back I was a sucker for any of the limited-edition Brooks saddles and I purchased the C-19 collaboration with Levis. I tried it on my '71 Paramount P-13 to see how it looked with the blue handlebar wrap, bar bag, and cables. I didn't feel the love--- so I remounted the B5N. I have a few more pictures if needed.

I've kept it and ridden it on other bikes. At the moment it is back in the original packaging awaiting some future, yet to be imagined, build.

Have you considered (If you could find one) a Turbo with a "natural tan" color nubuck leather cover on it?
I think it could go well with that frame, followed up with similar colored bar tape.
It will be half the weight of a suspended leather saddle, plus not look too modern, compared to the frameset, which I think a Brooks C19 might be.

C-19 on my Lotus Commuter. Its coming off today to be replaced with a Flyer. The C-19 will then go on my rainy day commuter.

A C17 on my faux hipster bad weather gravel beater, a Vista Islena. I like the concept of the saddle and its looks, but it is a little too grippy for my taste.

Not a terribly good photo, but here's my '73 Competition with the C.19.
