Addiction 2022.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Feeling basically back to normal. Just a tiny bit of a headache and bored as hell being in my house.

My spouse is feeling the same, except they seem to have lost some sense of taste

Still no results for either of us.

Are you sure that's a new development? They did marry you, after all.

I just ignore the "single use only" part. But I'm an old man who rides like an old man.

Sad.

However, he may have a point. I notice that most other cyclists ride with the edge of their butt more-or-less even with the back of their saddle. For whatever reason, I am more comfortable sitting on my saddle and the edge of my backside is 1-2 cm PAST the edge of the saddle.

I don't see my position/setup as a problem since it's comfortable for me, but anyone have any comments?
I’d venture a guess that you know what’s best.

My experience with those things is that they usually run but they suck to work on. I usually got them for spark plugs which is a pure joy.

After listening to the forumites, I went to the KMC site and it turns out they have a connector for 10 speed Campagnolo and it says reusable, so I ordered a pair.
I'm an old man, too, but I am creeping back to 200 pounds for some unknown reason.

Just catching up:

My Colnago came with a Prologo short nose saddle and I really like the short front. I've used Spec. Toupes since the 2-oughts but I really love this one, YMMV

As for chocolate, I was allergic as a child with hives, vomiting, etc. After puberty, I no longer get hives but I still sick if I eat dark chocolate. Milk chocolate is all I can handle.

Dallas, I'm betting that your saddle fit is fine for you.

On the home front, I'm stuck at home waiting for a DHL delivery that requires a signature. Hate that.

Waited for FedEx all day -- signature required delivery. The "Home Delivery" guy pulls into the driveway and, as I'm walking down the driveway, he takes off without delivering any packages.

Dang, that's frigging cold.

At least DHL gave me a delivery window. 8 am until whenever we get there.

The contractor that FedEx uses for "Home Delivery" around here is fairly unreliable.
