SOLD SOLD Bummer! Someone got a great deal Is there someone local that could look at this for me? I’m especially curious as the size and standover height. These were mostly 531 frames yes?

That Rossin is a crazy good deal. Glad it’s not local, I’d be in big trouble.

2003 Lemond Poprad. Been listed on CL for about a week, starting at $450 or $475. Now down to $400. This is a steal. I'd grab it but I already have two. Why someone hasn't picked this up already is beyond me. It'll run 38mm GK Slicks all day. Super nice bike. Catalog weight was something like 22 pounds, Reynolds 853 frame, 525 stays.

Yes, this is from the '80s so was a product of "the factory" ie: Holdsworthy (rather than "the shop") (decal on headtube, not a badge) but this is almost certainly all 531DB and perhaps was a "Mistral" model. If it sold for $75 it was a STEAL for STEEL!

I just saw this bike somewhere. I remember fawning over the RD and brakes and someone make a comment about the cable guides being mounted sideways

Amarillo Craig’s list, 1974 Gitane, 22.5 seat tube, no decals, appears in very good condition. Corespondent with owner, he would like for someone to keep it intact, but it’s too small for me.

Some nincompoop has a Della Santa listed for stupid money on eBay. Like $40,000 or something. Someone else put up a joke of a response listing of $40,001 for a different Della Santa. This seller must have seen those listings and thinks he's hit the jackpot...

Whilst I knew Della Santa build Lemond’s early racing bike, I was unawares his shop was large enough to handle a contract of this size.

To my knowledge, he did not build many. He built the early bikes that were used for marketing as well as some of the early production bikes. Billato built most of the Team Lemond bikes. Apparently, there were other early builders. I have one that was reportedly built by Scapin.
