I hear that they only work in the northern hemisphere. South on the equator, they become “self-loosening” due to the coriolis effect.

What? You don't believe a handlebar bag the size of an airline carry on is more aerodynamic than no bag? Or fenders on 42 mm tired bikes aren't more aerodynamic than 25 mm tired bikes?
