22.9 and about 800 feet looping through Discovery Park, Smith Cove Park and Myrtle Edwards Park before climbing up to Seattle Center.

Some of the views today. Boeing planes look rather small mounted on rail cars. Cruise ship and one just arrived. Mt Rainier looking very clear and white on the first of what will be our hottest days of the year. The Space Needle and Climate Pledge Arena at Seattle Center. Controversial sculpture/fountain near the Olympic Sculpture Park.

I did 28.5 today in just a tick over 90 minutes. Definitely one of my fastest paces. And that includes my routine incline route. That's a six mile stretch (10km) that climes about 760 feet (210m), or roughly, 120ft/mile (20m/km). The really rough part is that it's an incline the entire way. There are no dips, or even level spots, for the entire six miles.

Lucky you. It was 88 here before I even started. But I actually feel a little lucky that I can still bike this far into June. The next two months are going to be pretty hot, even early in the mornings. In July and August it's not uncommon for us to have overnight low temps above 90*.

but how about the humidity % ? Most days in the 60+ the air could be cut with scissors.

That is the one thing we have going for us. Local news says current humidity is 10%. I'm surprised it's that high!

Unfortunately, we seem to be trying to match your temps. I was home from my ride by 10:30am or so.

Was hoping to go out there today since the temps are ideal, wind is less than 2mph, & it being Sunday.... but the rain came & drowned out that idea. I could still try for a late ride, but I don't like how busy the roads tend to get.

152km (94mi), 1581m (5187ft), 29km/h (18mph) ave. today.

Yesterday was 103km (64mi), 801m (2627ft), 32.2km/h (20mph) ave so a pretty nice solo riding weekend - I decided to go alone and avoided the Groups rides. Nice to just be in your own thoughts for awhile.

Caps off a 541km (336mi) 4909m (16105ft) week.

Tough one today. Hot and humid (36 degrees with humidity making it feel close to 50), sunny, and windy. First half wasn't too bad as the roads had good shade and it was early enough in the morning that it wasn't too hot, but second half was a lot less shaded and the sun was a lot more intense.

Another 40 miles today between my Poprad and Soma Smoothie. Now 3 days for another115 miles to get my 2nd ever 1000 mile month. I thought about getting another 15 in, but it was 9:40 and time for me to get out of the sun. Even if is not that hot temp wise, the intense mid day sun is something to I need to limit my exposure to. I have had a fair amount of whittling by the dermatologist, on top of all the freezing of areas.

15.7 and 800. Left at 6:30am and home by 8am to avoid the predicted 90F temps. As is my thermometer says 84F at 8:45am.

It breaks tomorrow if the weatherman is correct.

56mi, 2519ft.

Intervals day, so was mainly about that with easy spinning in-between the hard efforts.

Finished up with a cruise along the beachfront, seeing what the tourists are up to.

Huh? Is that like walking uphill both ways? I prefer to ride downhill both ways.
