MAFAC Raid Brakes - Braze On

Hello!
Up for sale is a set of MAFAC Raid braze-on brakes. I manage to misplace three of the pivot posts but they are available from Rene Herse for $14/pair. Overall, a very clean set! Bummed I can’t use them. Not pictured are the brass shim washers. They will come with the set though.

Will these attach to a standard Mafac (Racer, Comp, etc.) backing plate, or are they made to be braze-on only?

I'm interested, but don't have an immediate use. I'd just be stockpiling them for the future. So if anyone here needs them more immediately, I'll wait a week or two.

The two cable-ends of the arms will be farther apart from each other, so the straddle length might need adjusting, but the mechanical advantage otherwise remains the same; I doubt the arms would interfere with each other enough (if at all) to bother; the only remaining issue would be that of how much reach provided by the braze-on post location can be replaced with that of the bridge - of which fortunately at least two sizes are available.

I don't see why they wouldn't, unless the bushing doesn't fit.

Although this might be possible anyone attempting to do this needs to keep in mind that using a Racer backplate will reduce tire clearance because the Racer posts are 12mm closer together than the Raid posts.

BTW, those backing plates that Rene Herse sells are from my Atelier. Jan ran out, I had a boatload of them from the centerpull braze-on conversions I do. I should still have a few.
These are what I sent up to Seattle:
Traded Jan for a bunch of centerpull braze on posts, so it was win-win
