Addiction 2022.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good luck with the sponsor. Play up the benefit to him.

So far no dice, but I am very persistent.

Fun fact. On my most recent flight, over a year ago, the first leg was delayed by 2 hours or so.The connection would be tight but doable. And then the second leg was delayed by an equal amount.

I only went to a couple big outdoor races and a bunch of supercross events. I went to the USGP at Carlsbad 3 times. Such a fun place, you could bring an ice chest and lawn chairs and set up anywhere around the track. I think the first time was 1971.

I also went to Saddleback once. It was a national event when they had 500cc, 250cc, and 125cc all on the same day. I think it was the last race there before the whole place was turned into a housing development. Same thing happened to Carlsbad.

Just remembered I went to an outdoor race in Las Vegas but I don't remember if it was called a national. I just remember Bob Hannah dragging his handlebar in the turns.

It was so hot that I didn't see jogger girl today. I guess she might have gone by when I was away from the street, but I'm guessing she bailed.

I did see a guy riding a street bike with what looked to be a 1:1 gear ratio. SMH

Bryan, if the power is out, obviously there is a reason. Just because you don't know what it is, doesn't mean there isn't one.
Edit: I was further behind that I thought. Sorry. Put some salve on the dead horse for me.
