With the rear rod brake positioned behind the bottom bracket (like some late-'80s MTBs, with U-brakes). Don't remember seeing that before.

Look at a Raleigh Tourist, the classic English Bobby bike. They've been like that for decades.

Should have remembered. I assembled a few of those DL-1 bikes when I worked in a Raleigh dealership in the early '70s.

Deserved its own post. Don't see these types pop up near me very often. DeRosa SLX - My size, not my price range... $1700. Always skeptical of "factory correct" mention...but this looks pretty original, including worn hoods and saddle. I can't see the DeRosa details in the images however. I will let smarter folks decide.

Judging from the good condition of the other components and the frame, not patina. The rims were anodized with a cosmetic titanium-lookalike finish. There may have been other rim manufacturers who offered rims in that color, but Araya is the one I remember.

$199.99 for this? Someone got a deal. Sell all that brifter 1000speed shifting stuff and you got a nice free frameset

D'back Specialized Miyata frames plus wheelset - Manchester NH - $65

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...6008364879248/
3 Teri mountain bike frames. One is a diamond back apex. Another is a specialized hard rock & the last one is a Miyata 310 as well as a set of double wall rims. I need them gone. If post is up they are available.

More pics at link. Looks like a good deal, especially if you happen to have a set of piggyback shifters looking for a home.

I don't want that Huffy, but it sure takes me back! It's probably from about the same year as my first ten-speed, a yellow bike from Montgomery Ward.
