Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Serious question...Are you opposed to all vaccines, or just the one for COVID?

I'm guessing that you're a bit younger than I am, and didn't get a small pox vaccine as a child. Do you know why? Because a generation did, and eradicated it in the US. You're welcome.

Turns out all (K)N95s are not equal, and that the majority of them out there are bunk. The KN95s are so much more comfortable(the ones I bought today passed the test, but there are only two of them; the ones we have piles of failed), but we're going back to the old standby N95. The wife even offered to wear a mask with words on the front.

I blew it as I didn't know there could be two of the same letter in the word. I'm not sure where I got that silly thought, but it sunk me today. Otherwise, it would have been line 4 because at that point, I was building words to eliminate letters.

When I'm stumped I automatically start looking at the letters that haven't been used yet, that's the technique that'll make you miss the doubles. On my 5th guess I used a word even though I knew at least two of those letters were wrong, but it was 5 letters I hadn't used yet, and it got me a third green letter, which was all I needed to figure it out.

I've been sporting 3M N95s with many words and numbers on them. Last time I ordered I scrolled through the list available for curbside at Home Depot and there were some interesting Alibaba-esque brand names.

Meanwhile in Canada, what a beautiful rock!

A large boulder about eight-feet tall sits on Sleepy Hollow Road between east of Monitor after falling from a nearby slope. The road is closed until at least Friday when a contractor is expected to break it into pieces and remove it.

I don't get the flu shot, which is more comparable to the covid shot, the covid shots don't stop the spread or prevent infection, so they are nothing like the smallpox or polio vaccines. I knew about covid in early January 2020 and was afraid we would overreact, which we did. Im against measures to limit the spread of covid 19, I see the war on covid like the war on drugs and the war on terror. Does more harm than good

You implied that we could limit the effect on the economy and have a return to normalcy if we all got vaccinated. Resentment towards the unvaccinated is the direct result of that line of thought, The division is a feature, not a bug
