Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Of course throw n fetch won’t work on cats. Just one more reason why dogs > cats.
My ex's cat would play fetch. Ball up a piece a paper or shoot a rubber band across the room and she'd retrieve it repeatedly.

I'd guess they roamed the whole state dating back to 25000ish bc. Earliest known agriculture was in northern AZ. First canals down here in Valley of the Sun area dug by the Hohokam circa 200 BC.

I was also going to say that, but my memory isn't the steel trap it once was.

Dammit. I'm delaying my bike ride just to watch the press briefing, and he's 12 minutes late so far. I may have to get a second piece of cheesecake.

A second piece of cheesecake is a good idea. It's such wonderful weight loss tool, heading out on a severe caloric deficit, isn't a good idea.

In virus news, my old man group has a ride this afternoon. I declined because

a: they're old and susceptible to the virus.
b: they're old and may fall down, thus needing valuable health resources.
c. they'll be blowing snot rockets around like a confetti cannon.
d. they probably won't stop for coffee because they won't want to stand outside to drink it.

Our statewide shelter in place edict hasn't started yet but I'm pretty sure that I've already gained a couple pounds being this close to the fridge.

I am doing everything I can to postpone the trainer today. Mrs. LAJ's greenhouse is de-iced, and she can get the door open to check on her sprouts. Weights done. Donuts bought from Carol Lee's, and delivered to the Veterinary office. Dogs fed and petted, treats given, and helped identify predator squirrels. Not much left.

It pains me to see the people this country is basically shutting down to try and protect, flaunting the asks the country is requesting.
