Torpado LUXE Frame/Fork Set - late 60s or early 70s...
I already have two Torpado road bikes, both from the sixties or early seventies. I bought two more Torpado LUXE bikes this summer and really have no interest in building either one. With that in mind, I offer someone else the chance to own a cool old Italian Torpado from the late sixties to the early seventies.
Torpado LUXE #1 - All chrome and in darn nice, little used condition. Looks better in the flesh, so to speak but there is a blemish or two. Hard to photograph chrome with my phone.
Seat Tube (c-c) - a bit under 23 inches
Top Tube (c-c) - a bit under 23"
Price $70.00 US + Shipping cost - SOLD

Randy, before you send this out, are there serial numbers and where are they on these older Torpados?

The one I just built up for myself has the number stamped into the underside of the bottom bracket...

Thanks Randy. Sure seems like some of the serials were punched by workers on Monday, Friday or after a vino lunch. The top pic’s 3rd number looks double punched with different numbers and I’m not sure what to make of the BB number, looks partially punched with letter or numbers. Seen the same on a few Italvegas of the 70’s.
