Jeremy Brett was no rock star, but he sang well in My Fair Lady.

Just go with it! This is a great too wet/cold to bike thread.
This is how good threads should work.

Btw, speaking of Rush a while back, I don't think (?) anyone has mentioned Neil Peart's connection with cycling?

not good at posting pics, but can anyone find any of the Green Bay Packers players riding kids bikes to practice? maybe Aaron Rodgers or Reggie White?

Ah, football players.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic in is Ajax days. You might say fake because the bike is still locked, but it's not entirely clear at which point in his career Zlatan stoppen beeing a bike thief.

As far as the “Best” footballer on a bike (never mind the foot down)....

The drop bar bike at the rear is merely an illusion. Because if it were real, it'd be in first place.

There are a few of these threads in C & V. If you want a good one, read/resurrect the "Linda Ronstadt on a Bike" thread.

At least he kept his boot on. He was drinking buddy of the above mentioned rockstar Philip Lynott btw, they have had a few too many together in the Clifton Crange Hotel, Lynott wrote a song about that place. I wonder how they got home in the morning.

Probably not the best footballer on a bike, best dribbler and most entertaining player probably. But this one was a better footballer.

Gullit was there on a bike too, but not in the frame. The others probably never played themselves, because Cruijff is the only one that knows how to carry a sports bag on a bike.

There's also pictures of Arjen Robben cycling to training in my hometown, he was only 16 on his debut so he wasn't allowed to drive, he cycled the minutes from his home village every day. I worked in that village, it had the same commute the other way around, it's about 40 minutes. Nothing wrong with cycling to training, but that seems a bit too much for a warming up/cooling down.
