Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I feel like a 3-4-5-6 Quordle is like a 2/6 Wordle. So at least I’m starting December off on that good note (seeing as my tri training is going to nosedive after a lot of travel over the next 4 weeks…).

Does jogging count as running then?

Yesterday, I took the Taycan out for the first time in a few weeks. Some young guy popped into my office asking whose car it is, and whether he could take pictures. He explained that he is a big fan and gear head, but has never seen a Taycan in the wild. Ended up taking a bunch of pictures with his cell.

Today, I drove it again. A fire marshal was doing the annual inspection of our office park, and when he came into mine asked all about the car. He was more interested in that than he was interested in the expired fire extinguisher and whether the emergency lights were working.

Neither of those types of things ever happens around here.
This post is useless without a pic.

Garmin said "take a rest day, loser".

I pled down to a sub-hour recovery spin. Hoping to run again tomorrow.

Work is doing its dmandest to kill me though.

I'm in week 4 of whatever that was. Still have the runny nose and major chest congestion. Zwifting is a real beotch in the first 20 minutes. Hacking and coughing my brains out. But it eases up after that. I have noticed my heart rate is up around 10 beats higher for the same effort as before being sick too. Whatever this is/was needs to eff all the way off already as it's interfering with my training.

Sounds just like my experience of a few years ago regarding a 1970 Olds 442, in yellow.

I still dream about it a little.
