Seriously. What is it about Litespeeds that so many people set them up like that? I mean, that has to be an uncut steerer, so if that's the original fork it was always like that.
BTW, before I got the Ultimate, I found myself looking at just about any Litespeed that was for sale, including a bunch that would have been way too noodly for my massive guads. I'm so glad I held out.

It's driving me around the bend. Every day I wake up, and think, "Do I USUALLY feel like this?", or if I get on the bike and feel a lack of snap in the legs, or if I look at my HR on the head unit, "Isn't this usually about 10 beats lower at this point?", or like yesterday, when the air was a little dry, and I wondered whether it was the first intimation of a sore throat.
Then there's the vicarious hypervigilance - Mrs. GeneJockey worked herself to a frazzle the other day and was fatigued all Friday night. No fever, but I wondered whether I should make up the bed in the garage for me and let her isolate in our room. Then try to figure out where to either get a home test or get her tested. Saturday she woke up full of energy and feeling fine. So, did she have it? Who knows?

Every time it seems like the Rams are going to win they find a way to give it back to Brady.

Eternal hypervigilance is the price of pandemics.

I rarely nap. If I do, I’m most definitely ill.

One more night in the bed, and then back in the hammock again. And one more night in the cold, and then back to reasonable temperatures. Not excited about getting on a plane, but it can't be helped.

My take on going to a testing site is that, of all the places you could go, testing sites are the ONE PLACE where you can absolutely guarantee there are infected people.

Imagine the pressure. You sit and watch until the last play with the season on the line.
This last one was a gigantic relief for me. Not just because I'm a Rams fan, but I've had enough Brady to last forever.
I think my heart rate was higher during the game than it was on this morning's ride.
