I think I have a hoarding problem.....
I'd been inventorying my completes and rolling chassis that are taking up most of my garage, basement, closet, and living room and feel like I should be doing an AA-style introduction. "My name is Dylansbob and I have *hangs head* 40+ bikes, plus another 8-12 frames." Admittedly that does include 2 tandems and 3 sized for my wife, but still a lot of clutter. A look at my garage and you'd think it was being squatted in with all the parts and projects, just without the meth fumes. When I write down everything and see the numbers, I kinda realized I have a problem. It used to be I'd accumulate flips, but everything is in my riding size range and almost all could be keepers.
I did some break downs on what I have:
Eras
50s -- 3 (1 American, 1 French, 1 Brit)
60s -- 2 (1 American, 1 Italian)
70s -- 12 (5+ British, 2 French, 2 American)
80s -- 11 (2 Italians, 6 American, 3 Japan)
90s -- 3 (2 American)
00+ -- 13
6 are fixed gears, 8 are mtbs, 2 tandems.
I think my username will be seen on the C&V Sales subforum over the next few months... It's just now I have to decide what to sell when and where and procurring enough boxes. Some can go local, but others I'd rather send to people here.

If you want to get rid of them faster, you can try giving them away. PM me for my street address. I'll pay shipping! I sense the direction of collecting is starting to shift towards American builders. I see you have some in yours. People my age that couldn't afford a European bike like a Masi GC when they were young could afford one and more when they became successful. For a variety of reasons - including economic circumstances - starting in the 70's, Americans could build nicer frames. Those that are collecting based on quality want to get the better of the American builds.

Exactly. The problem is the fact that you cannot have a basement in Charleston, SC.
Although, I need to take a cold hard look myself. Over the past year and a half, my buying has gotten out of hand. I think the 32 bikes I bought with my stimulus for the bike giveaway was the catalyst. And it crossed over to personal purchases. Unfortunately.
That said...tough to let go of some of the projects...they all are like my children. Probably shouldn't have named each of them.

Everything from 55cm to 64cm. I like a french fit, but I apparently can't eyeball the difference between a 61 and 63 as well as I thought.
I think I've narrowed it down to 12-15 that I can't give up, everything else I hope I can move between now and the end of the year as I get them prepped and photod.

There’s a guy near me that I have traded with occasionally - he has 400 bikes by his count in a fairly modest house. It looks just as you would expect. Just for some perspective.

That's about a third of the pile.
"Keepers" clogging up the workshop. Theres a small wood shop worth of machinery under the bikes.
The free and under $10 pile. Couple nice ones in the mix.
Theres another dozen or so around including the porch dwelling beaters..
I'm starting to feel like I hit peak bike in 2021.
