Ulegra cassette spacer

Hi...again

I bought a ultegra 6600 cassette on ebay earlier in the week and just got a message that the lady has lost a spacer for inbetween the cogs. She has offered me a refund but also offered to drop some money off to allow me to get the spacer.

The only thing I have found (https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=31698) which is a 3mm spacer, will that fix the problem as I have looked on Shimano (https://techdocs.shimano.com/media/te...9830608752.pdf) and the spacer is 2.35mm.

Don't suppose anyone knows if this will work or if anyone knows where I could get the correct one from.

Thanks AGAIN.

Ralph

Further to this - is there much difference between the 5600 2.35mm spacer and the 6600 2.35mm spacer as I have been able to find one of these.

All Shimano cassette models with the same number of cogs use the same spacers so the 5600 spacer is identical to the 6600 spacer. Use the correct thickness but the model number doesn't matter.

I just bought a new 10-speed cassette and I have the 10-speed spacers from the old cassette. If you haven't already gotten one, let me know and I can send you one for free--it's from an Ultegra 6600.

I think he's talking about in-between cog spacers, as opposed to the 10-Speed back of cassette spacer. No?
