zomboid threadski... nyes off of pch in southern laguna beach up to the park at the top has always been a paved tuffy. cove dr in dana point has a decent stretch but nyes is much harder.
there are likely a few bumps-like modjeska grade (off of southern scr) heading west-that are steeper but when the grade extends on and on...
this is a good place to start...

puente/la habra hills or laguna beach are the best places in ohcee co to get your best climb on within a relatively concentrated area...bang for the buck.
less auto traffic in puente/la habra hills but 5x more likely to get lost. #tradeoffs.

ooga-booga took me up some road without telling me about it first. Assuming he did it on purpose.

Tycho Brahe we did scr eastbound and pacific view southbound so i figured you were down since you always beat me to the top anyway.
it was nyes place in laguna beach and a lot tamer than some of the questionable stuff we've done/ridden.

If we include gravel trails, then East Ridgeview Trail (southbound) leading up to the high point in Peters Canyon is very steep. I usually hike this with my son, but I have once seen a very fit woman ride slowly up on a MTB with a humongous cassette. Her power to weight ratio must be very good. I do not recall her suspension setup as I do not ride MTB, but I don't think one can make it on a gravel bike.

In Corona del Mar, Newport Beach, there's a street off Bayside Drive, "Fernleaf Avenue". A few years ago, was there a neighborhood concern that Fernleaf Avenue should be a "one way" street? Did that ever happen?
