Garmin Edge Explore question

My new(refurbished) Garmin Edge Explore and new Varia RVR315 were both delivered today. I have both installed on my bike and the Varia is paired okay too. But, I can’t seem to find how to do a simple zeroing of distance and timer after a ride so I can start the next ride at zero. Would someone kindly tell me how to reset? Thanks!

If it works like every other Edge, it re-zeros when you stop and save the ride. Is it possible you are shutting it down without stopping and saving the ride first?

Actually, I haven’t taken a ride yet so it may well auto reset to zero. Thanks for your help, tomorrow will be test ride and familiarization day! Thanks again!

Generally goes like this:
  • Turn the Edge on
  • Start a ride
  • Drope the hamer and ride it like you stole it
  • Save the ride
This will get your ride data recorded and synced to the cloud. Every ride will start at zero for time and distance automatically, this happens immediately after the ride is saved.
