Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sad. I used to live in a development with tons of kids. Halloween was so much fun watching your child and all the kids enjoy this unique holiday.

Your D was good against the run but a little lacking against the pass.

Depends:
1. haul ass and hold my breath as I fly by
2. Stop and stomp the ground and/or throw rocks to entice 'em to move
3. scream like a little girl and go back to where I came from

I went out there for a couple of minutes for support, but I got bored and there was baseball and football on the TV.

Nearly rode over this young one on the Lehigh Gorge Trail. Didn’t see it. The ex did and mentioned it. Went back for a photo.

It's the developments around here that get the kid traffic. When The Boys were little, the city used to do "Safe Streets", where they blocked off traffic into one of those developments where there are only two streets into it, neither one a main drag. Local companies would sponsor, and decorate a house, and provide the candy, and all the homeowners had to do was sit back and let somebody else give out. There would be hundreds of people there, so everyone just walked in the streets.

I don't know if they're still doing that, but our street would be the last place you'd do Safe Streets in our town.

It was a total ****show and the game, as a whole, says more about the Vikings coaching than it does anything else (Cowboys included). We have the personnel to contend for a title, but we have a play-calling philosophy that belongs in the 80s.

People say there are rattlesnakes in the nearby southern Appalachians, but I've never seen one.

I wasn't sure if Cousins was that bad or if there just wasn't any communication or what was going on.
